The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 55 calls for service, issued one citation and made one arrest on May 9, 2013.

The SPD received 35, 911 calls.

Calls for service:
• Burglary of a building — 1300 block of Robert Lee.
• Disorderly conduct — 200 block of W. Broadway.
• Forgery — 800 block of E. Broadway.
• Criminal mischief — 2700 block of E. Broadway.
• Disorderly conduct — 300 block of Lamar.
• Burglary of a habitation — 100 block of E. New Mexico.

Arrested by SPD:
• Male juvenile — Disorderly conduct.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had 12 calls for service, no civil papers served and made one arrest on May 9, 2013.

Arrested by NCSO:
• Luke Lee Clark, 17, of Roscoe — No driver’s license (when unlicensed) and failure to maintain financial responsibility.

• Unattended death — Elm Street, Roscoe.
• Alarm — North Highway 70.
• Assist DPS/backup — I-20 MM 235 east bound.
• Vehicle accident — I-20 MM 244 west bound.
• Vehicle accident — I-20 MM 242 east bound.
• Information only — South Highway 70.
• Vehicle accident — I-20 MM 255 west bound.
• Traffic hazard — I-20 MM 256 east bound.
• Traffic hazard — I-20 MM 260 east bound.
• Reckless driver — CR 152/FM 608.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 235 east bound.
• Vehicle accident — I-20 MM 238 east bound.

The Sweetwater Fire Department responded to four ambulance calls and one fire call over the past 24 hours.
