The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 38 calls for service, issued three citations and made four arrests on May 9, 2012.

The SPD received 20, 911 calls.

Calls for service:
• Theft — 700 block of NE Georgia.
• Assault — 400 block of E. 12th.

Arrested by SPD:
• Tanner Engel, 21 — Disorderly conduct.
• Henry Payne, 26 — Warrants.
• Mark Williams, 28 — Evading arrest/detention.
• Christopher Ramos, 20 — Public intoxication.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had nine calls for service, served no civil papers and made no arrests on May 9, 2012.

Calls for service:
• Inmate transport/medical — 12th Street.
• Court Bailiff — Nolan County Court at Law.
• Grass fire — South Highway 70.
• Inmate transport/dental — E. 15th Street.
• Close patrol — CR 247.
• Traffic hazard — I-20 MM 238 east bound.
• Burglary — CR 108.
• Prisoner transport x3 — Runnels County.
• Disorderly conduct — Neff/Avenue C.
