The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 45 calls for service, issued one citation and made no arrests on June 28, 2011.

The SPD received 19, 911 calls.

Calls for service:
• Endangering a child — IH-20.
• Theft — 900 block of Oak.
• Theft — 500 block of E. Broadway.
• Burglary of a building — 600 block of W. Alabama.
• Assault — 200 block of FK Williams.
• Assault — 200 block of FK Williams.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had nine calls for service, served five civil papers and made two arrests on June 28, 2011.

Arrested by NCSO:
• Taurean Tywonne Grimes, 28 of Calvert — Warrant/motion to revoke probation.

Arrested by Roscoe PD:
• Ashlan Jamon Davis, 28 of Mesquite — Possession of marijuana.

• Close patrol — E. Bradford Lane.
• Stranded motorist — I-20 MM 237 east bound.
• Welfare concern — I-20 east bound at E Interchange.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 239 east bound.
• Grass fire — Trent Mesa.
• Suspicious vehicle — Park Circle.
• Inmate transport/medical — E Arizona.
• Assist Sweetwater PD/welfare concern — I-20.
• Suspicious incident — CR 226.
• Information only — I-20 MM 259/CR 179.
• Suspicious vehicle — CR 234/CR 179.
• Information only — Cypress Street, Roscoe.
