The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 60 calls for service, issued nine citations and made five arrests on Jan. 15, 2013.

The SPD received 32, 911 calls.

Calls for service:
• Burglary of a vehicle — 1600 block of San Carlos.
• Credit/debit card abuse — 1600 block of Bristol.
• Family violence assault — 700 block of Pease.

Arrested by SPD:
• Male juvenile, 12 — Assault.
• Jacob Aguilar, 17 — Warrant.
• Patrick Gonzales, 17 — Warrant.
• Whitney Byram, 25 — Driving while license invalid/warrant.
• Levi Cockrill, 21 — Theft.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had seven calls for service, served no civil papers and made two arrests on Jan. 15, 2013.

Arrested by NCSO:
• Salvador Vega, Jr., 21, of Boise, ID — Kootenai County ID, warrant/violation of probation.

Arrested by DPS:
• Arthur Lee Ollison, Jr., 54, of Balch Springs, TX — Driving while license invalid with previous conviction or suspension.

Calls for service:
• Stolen vehicle — Highway 70/Fisher County.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 252 west bound.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 242 west bound.
• Welfare concern — South Highway 70.
• Assist SPD/suspicious incident — Elm.
• Assist SPD/911 hang up — W. Broadway.
• Assist SPD/criminal mischief — W. Colorado.
