The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 149 calls for service, issued 15 citations and made 11 arrests from Feb. 22-24, 2013.

The SPD received 55, 911 calls.

• Counterfeit — 500 block of E. Broadway.
• Retaliation — 1200 block of Ragland.
• Theft — 700 block of NW Georgia.
• Theft — 1100 block of E. Third.
• Burglary of a vehicle — Sweetwater area.

Arrested by SPD:
• Joseph Lee Brown, 32 — Warrant service.
• Randall Wilson, 35 — Driving while license invalid.
• Victor Ray Acosta, 41 — Driving while license invalid with previous conviction.
• Christy Decker, 32 — Driving while license invalid.
• Arturo Treviño, 53 — Terroristic threats.
• Pedro Monroy, 31 — Public intoxication.
• Ruben Ornelas, 58 — Warrants.
• Male juvenile, 13 — Theft.
• Male juvenile, 15 — Theft.
• Male juvenile, 16 — Possession of marijuana.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had 18 calls for service, served no civil papers and made four arrests from Feb. 22-24, 2013.

• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 249 east bound.

• Suspicious incident — Grand Avenue.
• Assist Mitchell County/stolen vehicle — I-20.

The Sweetwater Fire Department responded to 11 ambulance calls and no fire calls over the past 48 hours.
