The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 40 calls for service, issued no citations and made no arrests on Dec. 5, 2012.
The SPD received 27, 911 calls.
Accidents:
• 1700 block of Lamar.
Calls for service:
• Criminal mischief — 700 block of W. Oklahoma.
• Theft — 200 block of E. AVE C.
The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had seven calls for service, served one civil paper and made three arrests on Dec. 5, 2012.
Arrested by NCSO:
• Rocky Flores, 30, Homeless — Criminal trespass.
• David Wayne Suddock, 40, of Sweetwater — Warrants/theft and credit card or debit card abuse, Burleson County warrant/unauthorized use of a vehicle, Taylor County warrants/surety withdrawal and violation of probation.
• Zachary Wayne Meehean, 22, of Clyde — Taylor County warrant/theft by check.
Calls for service:
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 249.
• Traffic hazard — I-20 MM 251-252 east bound.
• Stranded motorist — I-20 near Roscoe.
• Suicide threat — Hickory Street, Roscoe.
• Animal control — I-20 west bound and Business.
• Prisoner transport — Big Spring.
• 911 hang up — Cedar Street, Roscoe.
