The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 43 calls for service, issued four citations and made one arrest on April 4, 2013.

The SPD received 22, 911 calls.

Calls for service:
• Harassment — 700 block of E. New Mexico.
• Theft — 1800 block of Lamar.
• Bigamy — Sweetwater area.

Arrested by SPD:
• Sylvia Morales, 30 — Warrants.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had eight calls for service, served three civil papers and made two arrests on April 4, 2013.

Arrested by NCSO:
• Randall Wayne Bradberry, 50, of Sweetwater — Warrant/parole violation.
• Gary Lynn Thomas, 52, of Nolan — Warrant/sexual assault of a child.

Calls for service:
• Alarm — North I-20.
• Criminal mischief — BNSF depot.
• Inmate transport/medical — E. Arizona.
• Vehicle accident — Blackwell school.
• Suspicious vehicle — CR 221/CR 126.
• Fire — South of I-20, Roscoe.
• Fire — CR 117.
• Prisoner transport — Plainview.
• Civil problem — CR 111.

Total in Custody: 61 (Taylor County 11, Garza County 3, Runnels County 2)

The Sweetwater Fire Department responded to four ambulance calls and two fire calls over the past 48 hours.
