The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 60 calls for service, issued one citation and made no arrests on April 17, 2013.

The SPD received 38, 911 calls.

Accidents:
• 1500 block of Elm.

Calls for service:
• Criminal mischief — 1100 block of Crane.
• Burglary of a building — 800 block of E. 17th.
• Possession of drug paraphernalia — 900 block of Mulberry.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had three calls for service, served one civil paper and made one arrest on April 17, 2013.

Arrested by DPS:
• Michael Joseph Ybarra, 28, of Dallas — Madison County warrant/possession of marijuana.
Calls for service:
• Alarm — CR 190.
• Welfare concern — Broadmoor.
• Stray livestock — I-20 MM 251 west bound.

Total in Custody: 58 (Taylor County 8, Runnels County 2)

The Sweetwater Fire Department responded to 11 ambulance calls and no fire calls over the past 24 hours.
• Six ambulance calls in the city of Sweetwater.
• Five out of town transfers.
