Sister Precious was a faithful, dedicated, high spiritual and jolly saint that let her light shine all over the world and was the light of the world and finished her race with a shinning smile and without doubt. With no complaints, with pain and sorrow she always spoke “I’m fine.” Through her faithful journey her crown will be rewarded.
Her special hobbies were being committed to her church family, Brother Frankie and Sister Shelia Santiago and members. Most of all to her grandchildren and all walks of life children, taking them to the ballgames, Sonic Drive-In, and all around and #1 disciplinarian. She enjoyed expressing love to all known/unknown; not a stranger existed. She always had a special Christian faith in her heart. She loved to play her tambourine and shout to the Lord yes/halleluiah, praising the Lord’s name, singing in English and Español, a fluent Spanish speaker, played softball/basketball, was a very active dancer, a book scholar and extended a helping hand as needed to all.
Beloved survivors are her loving and caring fiancé Don Williams; one son, Ronald Eugene Atkins and special friend Tausha Miley; one daughter, Marcie Lanell Staten; two sisters, Jonell Staten Thomas and husband George, Sr. of Las Cruces, New Mexico and Brenda Staten Moore and fiancé Robert Durst, Jr. of Sweetwater; two brothers, Marvin Wilson and wife Dorothy of Odessa and Tommy Wilson of Albuquerque, New Mexico; two aunts, Barbara Staten and Verdell Williams of Houston; one uncle, Andrew Staten of Lubbock; two sisters-in-law, Edna Wilson of Lubbock and Patricia Wilson of Albuquerque, New Mexico; a long time special brother-in-law, Jimmie L.
