GREENWOOD — It’s not always easy and not always that pretty, but Sweetwater High School’s baseball team keeps finding ways to win.
The Mustangs, winners of 10 straight entering Tues-day’s District 4-3A opener at Greenwood, made it 11 in a row with a 7-6, nine-inning win. The game was ultimately decided when Greenwood’s rightfielder made a two-out error in the top of the ninth on a fly ball by Sweetwater’s James Clift that scored Tyler Beasley, who had singled and came around from first with the go-ahead run.
