SW, Roscoe have their final tuneups for district tonight

Roscoe (1-3) will also end the non-district portion of its schedule.

4-0 vs. 4-0

Sweetwater will meet an Andrews team it has much in common with on Friday at Andrews.
Both teams are known as the Mustangs, play at Mus-tang Bowl and run similar spread offenses. And both have compiled 4-0 records entering their non-district showdown. Friday’s winner will be halfway to a perfect 10-0 regular season when all-important district play begins in two weeks.

Presale tickets for Friday’s Sweetwater-Andrews foot-ball game in Andrews can be purchased at the Sweet-water Independent School District office on 207 Mus-grove through noon Friday. Tickets are $4 for adults and $2 for students.

SHS falls to AHS in last tuneup

ABILENE — Sweetwater High School’s volleyball team made the short trip to Class 6A Abilene High on Tuesday to play its last non-district match of the season, and the 4A Lady Mustangs were swept by the Lady Eagles in three games by scores of 14-25, 17-25 and 17-25.
