After an 0-10 season a year ago, Roscoe head coach Jonathan Haseloff would like nothing more than for his Plowboys to win todayâs 7:30 p.m. season opener against De Leon to begin the Sammy Baugh Classic.
A victory at Mustang Bowl over the Bearcats, who were 3-7 a year ago, would go a long way toward getting the program back on track to reaching the heights it has normally enjoyed.
And playing against Haw-leyâs Wing-T offense, which is similar to De Leonâs, in last weekâs final scrimmage will help Roscoe know what to prepare for today.
