Harold Duvall, age 83, of Roscoe, passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer on Saturday, April 6, 2013 in Sweetwater.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at First United Methodist Church in Roscoe with Reverend Juanelle Jordan officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home in Sweetwater.
Johanna DeJong Collins, 96, of Sweetwater, passed away on April 10, 2013.
Jo was born in Springfield, S.D. on Nov. 15, 1916. She graduated from Springfield High School and continued on to receive a teaching degree from Southern State Teachers College in Springfield, S.D. and a Bachelor's degree in education from Chadron State College in Chadron, Neb.
A private family memorial service is planned with local arrangements by Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Fidel Hernandez Acosta, age 39, of Roscoe, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2013, in Nolan County from a vehicle accident.
Funeral services will be held in Marivillas, Coahuila, Mexico. Burial will be at Municipal Cemetery in Marivillas, Coahuila, Mexico. Local arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Jesus Herrera Aldavera, 21, of Roscoe and formerly of Mexico, will be held in Mexico at a future date.
Local arrangements are under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Aldavera died Friday, April 5, 2013, at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo.

Funeral services for Bobbie Faye Harris, 75, of Sweetwater, will be at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at Fourth and Elm Church of Christ with Mike Crowley officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Harris died Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene.
Funeral services for Perry Kent Wilson, 52, of Sweetwater will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at McCoy Chapel of Memories with Rev. Keith Clower officiating. Interment will follow at Roby Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, April 8, 2013, at McCoy Funeral Home.
Charlene Zimmerman, age 89, of Sweetwater, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Nolan Nursing and Rehab.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Faith Lutheran Church with Pastor Chester McCown officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories. Arrangements under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Karina Garcia Cepeda, age 41, of Sweetwater, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2013 at her residence.
It was her wishes to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home with Ron Chamberlain officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Karina was born on Aug. 13, 1971 in Sweetwater to Roberto Macias Cepeda and Juana Garcia Martinez Cepeda. She worked as a bookkeeper. She received her Associate's degree in applied science.
Scharlos Jo Monks passed from this life April 4, 2013 at the age of 83 in a Sweetwater hospital. She was a long time resident of both Colorado City and Sweetwater.
Services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday April 6, 2013 at 4th and Elm Church of Christ with Michael Crowley and Jerry Turner officiating. Burial will follow in the Colorado City Cemetery.
