Tenaska, Inc., developer of the proposed Tenaska Trailblazer Energy Center near Sweetwater, presented a $3,000 donation to Nolan County United Way.
"Tenaska is honored to have become a part of the Sweetwater and Nolan County communities," Lloyd Harris, Tenaska community representative said, in presenting the check to members of the Nolan County United Way's Board of Directors.
"As in all the locations — in Texas and nationwide — where Tenaska has generating facilities, we take pride in being a contributing and supportive member of the community," Harris said.
Rees Taylor was able to share the experience of winning his first saddle with his grandfather, Clint Byers by his side. Taylor began roping, at the age of 10 years old. For four years, he has won buckles, but never a saddle. At the age of 14, during the Christmas for Kids roping event, Taylor received his first saddle. Pictured above are Clint Byers and Rees Taylor being presented with their saddles.
